Job summary

The i9 Sports Sports Coordinator role focuses on enhancing the experience for players and coaches, building strong relationships with players, parents, and coaches, and ensuring instructional delivery during practices and games. Observing and assisting coaches is a core duty.

This position involves hands-on involvement with practices and games across all age groups, promoting fundamentals, safety, and a fun, supportive environment for youth athletes.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and solve problems.
• Ability to ensure player safety and take charge in various situations.
• Positive attitude with strong relationship-building abilities.
• Availability to work weekends and some evenings for the season.

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
