Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking on-field Officials to enforce rules, coach players, and foster a positive game-day culture across Northland locations and Zona Rosa site in Platte County.

Shifts run Sunday afternoons (4–7 hours) or Saturdays at EPIC Sports Lodge in South Independence; you will manage time and score, ensure safety, and deliver friendly customer service throughout the seven-week season.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport‑specific officiating, playing or coaching experience.
• Highly motivated self‑starter; can work independently and solve problems.
• Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure player safety.
• Positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships.

The Official is a critical role in any sports field; responsible for enforcing rules while cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for the programs. This role has a direct effect on players, coaches and spectators each and every game day.

Work from 4- to 7-hour shifts on Sunday afternoons at Northland locations or Saturdays at the EPIC Sports Lodge location in South Independence or Zona Rosa site in Platte County.

• Understand and enforce i9 Sports rules books ensuring a fun, learning, and safety experience for all players
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values
• Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
• Fill in for absent coaches
