Job summary

The i9 Sports Official role at i9 Sports - South Wake County, NC is a critical on-field position focused on enforcing league rules while cultivating a positive culture among players, coaches, and spectators. The Official also serves as an on-field coach and program advocate during every game day.

Responsibilities include enforcing the rules, teaching core values like sportsmanship, tracking time and score, and delivering positive customer service with a safety-first mindset for all participants

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport officiating, playing, or coaching experience.
• Self-motivated, independent problem solver.
• Safety awareness to manage field situations.
• Able to work weekends and some evenings for the season (~7 weeks).
• Must pass National Criminal Background Check.

Job Summary

The Official is a critical role in any sports field; responsible for enforcing rules while also cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for the programs. This role has a direct impact on players, coaches, and spectators each and every game day.

• Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
• Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
