Job summary

Soccer Shots - Southwest Suburban Chicagoland in Lockport, IL seeks part-time coaches to run our recreational youth soccer program for PreK-8th grade. You will follow a pre-written curriculum, lead activities, and help players develop soccer skills in a fun, safe environment. Sessions are Tue/Thu evenings and Saturdays as needed; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Compensation is $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Love of working with young children.
• Ability to follow a pre-written curriculum.

• Energetic and enthusiastic.
• Some soccer experience required.
• Good physical stamina to be active on the field.

Responsibilities

• Coach in a youth soccer program following a curriculum.
• Lead activities during scheduled sessions.

4:45 pm - 7:15 pm

Soccer Shots runs the recreational soccer league for children ages PreK-8th grade at the Lockport Township Park District. Soccer Shots and our league continue to grow, and we are looking for PART-TIME coaches to join our team.

The ideal applicant must meet the following criteria:

• 1. A love of working with young children and making a difference in their lives.
• 2. The ability to follow a pre-written curriculum. Our coaches are not required to develop their own practice plans.
• 3. Have reliable transportation.
• 4. Be enthusiastic and high-energy.
• 5. Enjoy playing or coaching soccer, some soccer experience is required.
• 6. Have good physical stamina as you could be running, kneeling, and squatting on a field for up to 3 hours. Coaches must be able to carry an equipment bag that contains 14 balls, nets, and more.
