Job summary

HealthRIGHT 360 offers a Training and Apprenticeship program in California that is 5 months long, part-time at 20 hours per week. The program provides education, work readiness, and a pathway to employment for former clients and entrants with support needs.

Apprentices will participate in trainings, shadow client services, supervision, and team meetings, while building basic job skills including computer literacy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass a background check and live scan.
• Must not be on active parole or probation; clear with OIG database.
• Must be able to commute to programs in Pomona, Oxnard, Orange, Los Angeles, or Escondido.

Responsibilities

• Fully participate in Training and Apprenticeship activities.
• Accurately document hours.
• Attend regular supervision and training meetings.
• Complete all assigned training and follow policies and procedures.
• Follow confidentiality and compliance requirements of the program.
• Observe daily activities of residential and/or outpatient SUD treatment programs.
• Shadow certified SUD Counselors and other client-facing professionals during assessment and treatment planning.
• Attend treatment team meetings and learn documentation in an electronic health record system.
