Job summary

Empower invites you to join as a Retirement Plan Advisor serving Southern California (West San Bernardino, Riverside, Pasadena). You must be based in the territory and available for in-person meetings to support public employees and plan participants.

You will conduct retirement readiness reviews, build strategic partnerships, and manage on-site and virtual meetings, while logging activities in Salesforce and meeting compliance and performance goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of financial services experience.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Strategic thinker who can work independently.
• Strong relationship-building and territory management.
• FINRA Series 6, 63, 65 registrations within timeline; current registrations strongly preferred.
• FINRA fingerprinting required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Retirement Readiness Reviews and group/individual presentations.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Lead one-on-one and on-site meetings using various technologies.
• Manage meeting schedules and travel bookings.
• Create dynamic business plans to drive retirement income objectives.
• Document interactions in Salesforce and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Achieve plan-level and individual goals to meet service targets.
• Participate in client meetings and sales events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve effectiveness.
