Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cupertino is seeking a SoC System Level Test Product Development Engineer to design and validate next-generation, high-performance processors for Apple devices.

You will help build AI-native debug and characterization platforms, enabling rapid insight from large-scale factory data. The role focuses on developing SLT test programs from NPI to HVM, deploying at OSATs, and collaborating with GSM, Test Engineering, Product, QA, and SW teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of experience in relevant field.
• Experience with silicon characterization and test program development.
• Familiarity with factory test flows and high-volume manufacturing.
• Hands-on exposure to LLMs or AI-assisted engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop SLT Test programs from NPI to HVM for Apple SOCs.
• Lead deployment of SLT at OSATs, collaborating with GSM and Test Eng teams.
• Work with internal Apple test teams, Product Eng, QA, PM, SW teams.
• Collaborate to understand SoC fundamentals: CPU/GPU pipelines, memory hierarchy, boot flow, power/clock domains.
• Write production-quality code in Python and a high-level language (C++/C#) for automation.
• Contribute to AI-native debug and characterization platforms used on terabytes of data.
• Influence silicon quality and performance across global products.
