Job summary

PNC is seeking a Security Analyst to join its Technology organization, with base in Pittsburgh, PA or other listed cities. The role focuses on evaluating alerts from SIEM/EDR, tuning events to reduce false positives, and guiding remediation across security controls.

The candidate should have 3+ years of related experience and a strong foundation in information and network security. The position is in-office, with a schedule of Sunday-Thursday evenings, and offers a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• University/college degree required with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Certifications often desired; a comparable combination of education, certification(s), and experience may be considered.
• BS or higher in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical evaluation and analysis to improve overall security posture of the organization.
• Applies security concepts, reviews information, executes defined tasks, analyzes requirements, reviews logs, and creates documentation.
• Advises on more complex security procedures and products for clients and staff; participates in enforcement of security risks and threats.
• Conducts security assessments and other information security routines consistently.
