Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) Program Manager to support a federal customer within the Department of Homeland Security. You will lead enterprise information security architecture and advise on risk, with responsibilities across training and program development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Direct project and program management experience in delivery of information systems or computer network support services (8+ years).
• Experience with cyber security architectures, threat management standards, and industry best practices.
• Subject matter expertise in enterprise information security architecture and ability to apply to organizational security strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provides subject matter expertise on enterprise information security architecture as applied to the organization's overall security strategy.
• Advises program on overall risk levels and security posture.
• Serves as an internal consultant on technology, tools, standards, best practices, processes, etc.
• Articulates daily challenges to the DHS Portfolio Manager to support SOC development and growth.
• Interprets and advises on noncompliance with program standards and adherence to best practices to determine impact on risk and effectiveness of the cyber security team.
• Interprets and advises on application of laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures to issues.
• Develops short-term and strategic training events for the assigned team.
