You will collaborate with architects, software teams, and verification engineers to debug issues and drive improvements in performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Prior industry/academic experience in computer architecture or performance evaluation.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and software engineering concepts.
• Experience analyzing workloads and optimizing processor performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize leading edge processors with IP and SOC architects.
• Characterize workloads and project performance; debug performance issues.
• Run performance simulations and analyze results to evaluate architectural features.
• Analyze competition and identify future improvement areas.
• Enhance existing application tracing techniques; develop data collection tools.
• Coordinate multi-discipline interactions to resolve architectural performance issues.
