Job summary

WebstaurantStore is seeking a Security Operations Center Intern in Lancaster, PA for Summer 2027. You will work alongside cybersecurity professionals focusing on incident response, threat detection, and investigations within the IT Operations and Support department.

You will analyze threats using tools like SIEM, EDR, DSPM, and SEG and assist with escalation and troubleshooting while gaining hands-on experience in IT security.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed IT-related studies or equivalent experience.
• Certifications in security (A+, Security+, CySA+) are a plus.
• Experience with IT security concepts and tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Investigate potentially malicious messages to assess threat level.
• Perform threat remediation and end-user follow-up actions for affected systems.
• Respond to active IT Security alerts with urgency.
• Monitor observability platforms for trends and proactive measures.
• Participate in security incident response as part of the CIRT.
• Complete various project work as assigned.
