Bank of China Limited, New York Branch seeks an experienced Security Operations Center leader to oversee real-time threat response across enterprise systems, manage a SOC team, and coordinate with Governance, Compliance and Risk Management.

The role requires deep knowledge of information security, risk management, regulatory expectations such as FFIEC, GLBA, and NIST, plus hands-on familiarity with SIEM, DLP, XDR, EDR and related tools.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of full-time work experience.
• Minimum 3 years in information security, cybersecurity, vulnerability management, security architecture, network, and systems administration.
• Minimum 3 years in risk management.
• Good understanding of FFIEC, GLBA, and NIST regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of information security and cybersecurity best practices.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Firewalls, UNIX, and network architectures.
• Knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, DLP, XDR, EDR, and Web Filter.
• CISSP/CRISC or related IT certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Execute incident response protocols for timely escalation.
• Conduct initial incident response including containment, documentation, and communication.
• Post-incident reporting and analysis; maintain detailed records of security events and actions.
• Analyze security alerts and assess potential threats.
• Stay updated on current threat landscape and emerging techniques.
• Supervise a team of SOC Associates during shifts, ensuring coverage.
• Enforce adherence to SOC Policies, Standards and Procedures and escalate issues.
• Participate in review and improvement of incident response policies and procedures.
• Execute Security Policies and Standards.
• Manage assigned security monitoring tools.
• Conduct vulnerability scans, patch management, IAM, penetration testing, data privacy, phishing and training, audit affairs and risk assessment as needed.
