Job summary

Bank of China Limited, New York Branch is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity leader to define and oversee the 1st line cybersecurity management processes for the America Data Center. The role includes conducting security assessments, monitoring controls, and coordinating remediation with regulators and auditors.

The candidate should bring 6+ years of cybersecurity in financial services, strong communication skills, and familiarity with FFIEC, SSAE 18, SP800-53 and COBIT frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Risk Management.
• Minimum 6 years of Information Security or Cybersecurity management experience within Financial Services.
• Demonstrate understanding of IT risk and control assessment methodology and security frameworks (FFIEC, SSAE 18, SP800-53, FIPS-199, COBIT).
• Strong communication skills and operation skills of Information Security tools.
• Bilingual ability in Mandarin preferred.
• CISSP, CISA certification(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Cybersecurity management team to define the 1st line cybersecurity management process, methodology and procedure.
• Oversee America Data Center cybersecurity related activities and information security assessments.
• Monitor and report the Bank's information security status and escalate major issues.
• Manage and operate information security tools (e.g., Nessus, Websense DLP).
• Assist in policy development, incident response processes, and regulatory/audit communications.
• Act as point of contact with Regulators and Internal/External Auditors.
