Job summary

Apple Inc. in San Diego seeks a multifaceted engineer to develop system level test programs for debug, characterization, qualification, and production of SoC devices.

You will perform measurements that impact SoC power and performance, collaborating with design, validation, test, manufacturing, system test and software to identify issues and implement corrective actions. Prior experience with scripting and data analysis is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 3 years of experience.
• Experience with system-level characterization and correlating to ATE.
• Understanding of PDN impact on Vmin, ATE test content, system-level test programs and test hardware.
• Experience working with and driving cross-functional teams.
• Statistical data analysis tools to perform high-volume characterization and production data analysis.
• Experience in scripting (Python, JMP, PERL, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform measurements that directly impact SoC power and performance for next-generation products.
• Collaborate with design, validation, test, manufacturing, system test and software to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Define characterization plans, perform data analysis and drive reviews across cross-functional teams.
• Characterize multiple test setups and optimize production screening guardbands for each system.
