Job summary

Apple seeks an SoC Audio Architect to define the audio subsystem architecture for its SoCs, from concept to tape-out and shipping products. You will own multi-generational subsystems and align roadmaps with Silicon, Software and Hardware teams.

In this high-visibility role, you will optimize trade-offs between performance, power and area, design audio interfaces (I2S, PDM, TDM, MIPI SWI3S), and influence cross-organizational decisions while mentoring others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with SoC architecture principles.
• Experience with SoC audio processing.

Responsibilities

• Define audio subsystem architecture for Apple's SoCs across generations.
• Collaborate with Silicon, Software and Hardware Engineering teams to size subsystems and optimize trade-offs between performance, power and area.
