Job summary

You will work with the SoC architecture lead to define architectures, analyze performance/power trade-offs, and contribute to product specifications across development phases. Collaborating with global teams, you will present findings, translate requirements into detailed specs, and ensure interoperability with AMD IPs.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of SoC construction including fabric connectivity, memory systems, power delivery, clock distribution, floor planning, and packaging.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL) and data analysis.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support pathfinding activities to influence and define next-generation architecture.
• Analyze design tradeoffs in terms of performance, power and area impact.
• Analyze and compile competitive analysis data.
• Collaborate with architecture leads to translate product requirements into detailed specifications.
• Work with AMD's Engineering teams and IP teams to ensure architectural alignment of features and clean interoperability and integration.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end process documentation to ensure cross-team alignment and clarity for execution.
