Qualifications

• 4+ years in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or cybersecurity analyst role.
• Hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and optimizing Splunk dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Experience monitoring and analyzing security events, alerts, and incidents.
• Knowledge of SIEM technologies, log management, and threat detection methodologies.
• Familiarity with common security tools including EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability management platforms.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GCIH, or Splunk certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain custom Splunk dashboards, reports, and visualizations for security monitoring and executive reporting.
• Develop and optimize Splunk searches, alerts, and correlation rules to improve threat detection capabilities.

• Collaborate with security engineers, IT teams, and stakeholders to enhance security monitoring processes.

• Document incidents, procedures, and recommendations for continuous SOC improvement.

The SOC Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security events while also designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Splunk dashboards to improve threat visibility and security operations effectiveness. Compensation for the SOC Analyst includes:

• Salary range: $130,000 - $145,000 depending on experience
