Foxhole Technology is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional in Leesburg, VA for a day shift. You will respond to incidents, analyze events, and coordinate with Tier III support to mitigate threats. A DoD Secret clearance is required, with 5+ years in SOC environments and strong communication skills.

The role focuses on incident handling, data collection, and reporting, supporting federal civilian and defense clients with security operations and critical IT infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial response to cybersecurity incidents and determine scope and impact.
• Investigate, remediate, and resolve security incidents, escalating as needed.
• Monitor SOC tools to identify threats and anomalies.
• Identify and escalate EOIs, collect data to support investigations.
• Generate incident reports and manage incident communications through resolution.
• Document incidents and follow incident response procedures.

Shift: Day Team A: Sunday-Tuesday and alternating Wednesday's, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial response to identified cybersecurity incidents, assess potential impact, and determine the scope of attacks and affected systems.
• Investigate, remediate, and resolve security incidents, escalating complex issues to Tier III support as necessary.
• Monitor and analyze cybersecurity events using SOC tools to identify potential threats and anomalies.
• Identify, investigate, and appropriately handle Events of Interest (EOIs), escalating as required.
• Collect and analyze relevant data to support incident investigation and resolution.
• Generate incident response documentation and reports in accordance with established procedures.
• Manage incident-related communications, including initial notifications, follow-ups, requests for information, status updates, and resolution activities.
• Document and track incidents through resolution, following established security operations and incident response procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, network security, a Security Operations Center (SOC), or a related IT security environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; additional relevant work experience may be substituted for education.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles, security best practices, and incident response procedures.
• Experience with security monitoring, event analysis, incident handling, and remediation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with SOC and cybersecurity personnel.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance required.

$90,000 - $110,000 USD
