Job summary

Algosystems seeks a SOC Analyst to monitor customer environments, investigate incidents, and generate regular security reports. The role requires handling sensitive systems within defined procedures and supporting continuous security monitoring around the clock.

Candidate should have a degree in CS/IT, cyber security is a plus, and English/Greek proficiency. Knowledge of SIEM tools like IBM QRadar and Wireshark is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field.
• Master's degree in cyber security would be considered a plus.
• 1 year of working experience in the Cyber Security field would be considered a plus.
• Basic knowledge of any SIEM solution (e.g., IBM QRadar) or other security tools (e.g., Wireshark) would be considered a plus.
• Solid knowledge of network and security principles.
• Proficient in English and Greek.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The SOC Analyst, based at Algosystems in Athens, Greece, is responsible for ensuring that customers are protected against cybersecurity incidents. The role requires the ability to handle critical and sensitive systems while strictly complying with defined procedures. As the SOC operates on a 24/7 basis, the position includes both day and night shifts to support continuous security monitoring and incident response.
