Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs is seeking a contract/hourly extracurricular educator to support students in core subjects, plan small-group interventions, and lead enrichment activities aligned with K-3 WVCCR standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in education, teaching certification or equivalent experience, and strong interpersonal/organizational skills. Training in the Science of Reading and Numeracy is preferred. First aid/CPR certification is encouraged for at least one staff per site.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in education (Multi-Subjects K-6, K-8 Elem Ed K-6; K-5; or 1-6 required).
  • Training in the Science of Reading and Numeracy, preferred
  • Valid teaching certification or equivalent experience as an educator.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Experienced educator.
  • First aid/CPR certification (preferred but required for at least one staff per site).
