We are currently seeking a full-time Soapstone & Corian Countertop Fabricator for daytime hours, Monday – Friday, 7 am – 3:30 pm, with Saturday as needed.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Preferred: Candidate with previous experience in countertop fabrication and/or woodworking skills.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Summary: Provides customer service through in-house fabrication of countertop surfaces by performing the following duties:

  • Build & install countertop surfaces according to design specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain equipment in proper working order.
  • Assist with installation of countertop products as needed.
  • Schedule sharpening and replacement of bits and blades.
  • Maintain a professional image and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Review invoice and ticket information to ensure correct materials are used.
  • Assist customers with loading materials and completing orders.
  • Participate in inventory management and shop maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Physical requirements include frequent communication, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift items up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception. The work environment may include exposure to weather, heights, fumes, airborne particles, mechanical parts, and loud noise levels.
