Buff City Soap in Cedar Rapids is seeking a high-energy team member to join ourMakery and Retail team. You will deliver friendly, professional service, help customers select products, and work with teammates in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires basic computer skills, the ability to stand for long periods, and the stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. We offer health insurance options, life insurance, flexible scheduling, and employee discounts with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all your clients’ needs are met and are treated professionally.
• Ability to properly engage with all clients, by building good relationships and understanding and meeting their needs as a client.
• Ability to make recommendations for products.
• Ability to maintain the minimum sales requirements.
• Ability to multi-task. Juggling product production as clients enter and leave. Engaging new clients upon their arrival.
• Assists with maintaining cleanliness of the Makery including the production and retail areas.
• Ability to work cohesively with a team in an upbeat and fast-paced fun environment, while upholding all company policies and procedures.
• Candidate should expect to work five days per week, and approximately a 30-to-45-hour work schedule depending on hourly or salary status.
