An established industry player is seeking dedicated Outreach Workers to help combat gun violence in Newburgh. SNUG is based on the nationally known Cure Violence Model, which targets youth ages 14-24 who are at risk of gun violence. Its goal is to end gun violence by identifying and engaging city youth most at risk of involvement in shooting through education and community outreach.
Work conditions may include exposure to inclement weather and noise. This job requires consistent punctuality and attendance. The Outreach Worker will spend most of their work time walking and standing.
