Responsibilities:

1. Develop software following the KnowBe4 SDLC and Agile methodologies.
2. Recommend solutions to engineering challenges.
3. Provide technical guidance to team members.
4. Define approaches to complex technical problems.
5. Align strategic goals with operational plans.
6. Coordinate across teams.
7. Potentially lead sub-projects.

Requirements:

• BS or equivalent + 8 years experience.
• MS or equivalent + 3 years experience.
• Ph.D. or equivalent + 2 years experience.
• Training in secure coding (preferred).
• Proficiency with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with AWS services.
• Strong Git and version control skills.
• Experience supporting web applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Quick learner of new languages.
• Experience with GraphQL, AI, Vue3, or IaC scripts like Terraform is a plus.
