Our Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) and Epitaxy (EPI) teams seek innovative, driven, and experienced Mechanical Engineers to develop cutting-edge technologies. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to designing, developing, and optimizing high-precision equipment, collaborating across disciplines to solve complex engineering challenges, ensure product reliability, and advance technology.

Responsibilities
  • Apply engineering principles, product specifications, and research data to design systems and products for the semiconductor industry.
  • Perform engineering calculations related to structural, thermal, and fluid dynamics problems.
  • Create and revise Creo Parametric CAD models and detailed drawings, from simple parts to large assemblies.
  • Assess feasibility of proposals, resolve technical problems, and develop new designs maintaining safety criteria, using statistical methods to optimize designs.
  • Prepare engineering documentation for manufacturing and testing of prototypes and production products.
  • Manage projects including report generation, scheduling, design reviews, and interdepartmental coordination.
  • Establish product configurations and structures for development and manufacturing.
  • Participate in design reviews for custom projects, enhancements, and new designs.
  • Plan and execute engineering projects, including scheduling and resource estimation.
  • Travel to customer and supplier sites for technical discussions.
  • Assist in cost estimation for new options and features.
  • Support hardware development, installation, testing, and verification.
  • Coordinate with other teams for product updates and manufacturing transition.
  • Evaluate change requests and complete engineering change orders.
Qualifications
  • Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field; PhD preferred.
  • Experience with complex mechanical systems such as reactors, vacuum chambers, and gas delivery systems.
Skills
  • Experience in semiconductor or heavy capital equipment preferred.
  • Knowledge of deposition processes (CVD, ALD, EPI, PVD).
  • Familiarity with standards like CE, NFPA, Semi S2-95.
  • Understanding of materials and surface finishes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft, CREO, AutoCAD, and geometric dimensioning standards.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage resources, coordinate with vendors, and meet deadlines.
