Job summary

Mountain Creek is seeking a Snowmaker to join our four-season resort team in Vernon, NJ. The role involves turning on/off all on-hill snowmaking equipment and ensuring quality and coverage across shifts, with setup and break-down of trails as needed.

The position requires operating snowmobiles, ATVs, and trucks, following safety protocols, and maintaining snowmaking guns and infrastructure. Teamwork, radio communication, and adherence to PPE are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Turn on and off all on-hill snowmaking equipment and monitor quality and coverage throughout shifts.
• Set up and break down trails for snowmaking needs.
• Safely operate snowmobiles, ATVs, and trucks following company policies.
• Operate pumps and compressors at startup and maintain snowmaking guns and infrastructure.
• Use radios to communicate and follow safety protocols and PPE.
