Job summary

Sugarbush Resort is seeking entry-level and experienced Snowmakers for the upcoming winter season. Snowmakers play a critical role in laying the groundwork for a top-notch ski season, operating and maintaining snowmaking systems, and delivering a high-quality guest experience.

Employee housing is available and the job runs November to mid-February, with potential moves to other resort roles. Shifts are 12 hours on a staggered schedule, with night shifts 7pm–7am offering higher pay.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work long hours outdoors, overnight and in the elements.
• Physically able to move/operate equipment and lift 50-100 lbs.
• Able to communicate effectively with supervisor and teammates.
• Experience with ATV/snowmobiles is preferable and basic mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification is desirable but not required.
• Timely and reliable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowmaking equipment as part of a larger team following the daily snow plan.
• Transport equipment, route hoses, clear guns, and adjust snow guns to maximize coverage and quality.
