Job summary

Snow Summit LLC is seeking a Seasonal Snowmaker at Snow Valley in Running Springs. The role supports the safe operation of snowmaking equipment to meet daily targets and ensure quality terrain conditions for guests.

Starting wage ranges between $20.00 and $22.80 per hour, depending on experience. This is a seasonal, on-site position with opportunities for skill advancement within Alterra Mountain Company properties.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow multi-step instructions
• A valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Able to work in extreme weather conditions
• Familiarity and working knowledge of OSHA and safety practices preferred
• Must be able to pass Company certification as a Snowmobile Operator
• Ability to operate equipment as trained
• Ability to read and comply with documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Able to work flexible schedules, including second and third shifts

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• At least eighteen (18) years old
• Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to carry out multi-step instructions
• A valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Able to work in extreme weather conditions
• Familiarity and working knowledge of OSHA and safety practices preferred
• Must be able to pass Company certification as a Snowmobile Operator
