Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Data & Analytics Engineer within the DNA unit in the United States. The role focuses on data warehousing, ETL, and AI-driven data solutions across cloud platforms, with responsibilities spanning requirements, design, coding, and deployment of scalable data pipelines.

The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, performance, and governance while driving modernization initiatives and leveraging Cortex AI / GenAI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with data warehousing, ETL, SQL, Python, DBT, Snowflake and Cortex AI / GenAI.
• Experience driving data modeling, transformation and analytics aligned with enterprise architecture.
• End-to-end design and delivery of scalable data engineering solutions using Snowflake, dbt and Python.

Responsibilities

• Document assigned parts of business requirements for data-related projects.
• Lead design discussions and guide development teams.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and data quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill and Experience

• Hands‑on experience in Data Warehousing, ETL, SQL, Python, DBT, Snowflake, Cortex Code AI / Gen AI, Azure cloud
• Drive data modeling, transformation, and optimization aligned with enterprise data architecture and analytics requirements.
• Experience in leading end‑to‑end design and delivery of scalable data engineering solutions using Snowflake, dbt, and Python, ensuring high‑performance data pipelines and robust data warehousing practices.
• Experience in Cortex AI / GenAI capabilities to enable automated code generation, data validation, and intelligent pipeline enhancements.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Collaborate with onsite stakeholders, architects, and cross‑functional teams to define requirements, provide technical leadership, and ensure delivery excellence.
• Mentor offshore teams, enforce best practices in data engineering, CI/CD, and governance, and ensure high‑quality, production‑ready deliverables.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
