Job summary

Capgemini in Fort Mill, SC is seeking an experienced Snowflake Platform Administrator and Data Engineer to support enterprise Snowflake environments across development, testing, and production. You will design pipelines with AWS Glue, manage RBAC and security controls, and optimize compute and storage in a hybrid onsite model.

The role requires strong Snowflake expertise, SQL and Python proficiency, and hands-on experience with AWS services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 4+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake administration and platform management.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Glue and cloud-based data engineering solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience managing: RBAC and security frameworks.
• Knowledge of Snowflake architecture, virtual warehouses, storage, compute, and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise Snowflake environments across development, testing, and production.
• Configure and monitor resource monitors, virtual warehouses, and workload management.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue and Snowflake.
• Implement data quality, validation, and monitoring processes.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake deployments and data engineering solutions.
• Automate administrative and operational activities using Python and SnowSQL.
