Job summary

Mount Talent Consulting is seeking a Senior ETL Snowflake Tech Lead to architect and implement CDC-based data pipelines in a Noida/Bangalore setting. You will optimize Snowflake performance, model data, and manage cost and governance across teams.

The role requires strong SQL, Python/Scala, and experience with Azure along with orchestration tooling. You will collaborate with data architects and analysts to deliver real-time data capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience designing end-to-end CDC-based ingestion pipelines and loading into Snowflake.
• Experience with Snowflake objects, clustering, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
• Hands-on with one cloud platform (Azure) and scripting in Python/Scala for ELT orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end CDC-based ingestion pipelines using tools such as Debezium, Fivetran, Qlik Replicate, or StreamSets.
• Develop scalable ELT/ETL pipelines to load structured and semi-structured data into Snowflake.
• Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, caching, micro-partition tuning, and query optimization.
• Build and maintain Snowflake objects: databases, schemas, stages, warehouses, tasks, streams, pipes.
• Implement data modeling best practices (Star/Snowflake schema, Data Vault 2.0, dimensional modeling).
• Manage Snowflake cost optimization and workload management.
• Integrate data from relational databases via CDC.
• Work with streaming platforms like Kafka, Kinesis, or Azure Event Hub.
• Implement near real-time ingestion patterns using Snowpipe or Snowflake Streams & Tasks.
• Build data validation, reconciliation, and monitoring frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and governance standards.
• Implement RBAC.
