Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking an experienced Snowflake Integration Lead to design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using Snowflake and cloud technologies. You will lead technical teams and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable data pipelines and robust data architecture.

The role emphasizes Snowflake expertise, SQL mastery, and strong collaboration across data engineers, architects, and product owners to migrate legacy data platforms and optimize performance.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or related technology roles.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
  • Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, data modeling, SQL, and performance tuning.
  • Strong experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms, preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong understanding of data integration patterns, APIs, batch processing, and real-time data pipelines.
  • Experience with Python and/or other programming languages used for data engineering.
  • Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and enterprise data architecture.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable data integration solutions using Snowflake.
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting and transforming data from multiple sources.
  • Define integration architecture, data flows, interfaces, and technical standards.
  • Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to build and support data solutions.
  • Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformation logic.
  • Integrate Snowflake with enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
  • Design and implement batch and real-time/streaming data integration solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and Snowflake workloads.
  • Implement data quality, security, governance, and performance best practices.
  • Collaborate with data architects, engineers, analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders.
  • Lead technical discussions, code reviews, design sessions, and solution planning.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineering and integration teams.
  • Support migration of legacy data platforms and ETL processes to Snowflake.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and integration specifications.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Integration Lead to lead the design, development, and implementation of data integration solutions leveraging Snowflake and modern cloud data technologies.   • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Snowflake certification is a plus.
  • Experience leading offshore/onshore technical teams.
  • Strong experience managing multiple integration projects and priorities.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
