Job summary

LatentBridge is hiring a hands-on Snowflake engineer/architect for a remote role in the United States. You will design and implement integration and transformation patterns, evaluating Snowflake-native options over external platforms and delivering migration PoCs.

The role emphasizes performance, cost optimization, and observability across ELT workflows, with preference for Openflow experience and Informatica migration expertise.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess Informatica workloads proposed for migration into the Snowflake ecosystem.
• Design Snowflake-centric ingestion, transformation and orchestration patterns.
• Implement representative migration POCs.
• Design patterns for database/data movement, batch processing, micro-batch processing, ELT transformations.
• Evaluate and implement Snowflake Openflow where appropriate.
• Optimize workloads for performance, concurrency and consumption cost.
• Design error handling, restart/recovery, reconciliation and observability.
• Support 15-minute micro-batch processing scenarios where appropriate.
• Evaluate when processing should remain within Snowflake instead of routing through middleware.
• Participate in architecture reviews and document reusable implementation patterns.

Job Description

This is a remote position.

Role Purpose

We are looking for a hands-on Snowflake engineer/architect capable of designing and implementing integration and transformation patterns that can replace appropriate Informatica PowerCenter workloads.

The role will evaluate when workloads should use Snowflake-native processing, dbt, Openflow or adjacent Snowflake capabilities rather than an external integration platform.
