Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking a skilled consultant to support Snowflake architecture, implementation, and performance tuning across client engagements in a dynamic analytics practice. You will partner with Snowflake account teams and help drive go-to-market activities while delivering robust data solutions.

Applicants should have 3+ years implementing Snowflake in consulting, 5+ years in consulting overall, and strong SQL skills with experience in data warehouses and lakes.

Responsibilities

• Support Snowflake architecture, implementation, expansion and performance tuning across the platform.
• Build relationships with Snowflake account executives and support sales activities.
• Assist analytics practice with data management, BI, advanced analytics, modernizations, etc.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and solve technical issues for clients.
• Model and architect data warehouses, data lakes, and other data repositories.
• Interact with clients and manage projects, staff, and client relationships.
• Mentor junior staff and adopt new technologies.

Your role.

Your Work Will Include, But Not Be Limited To

• Supporting architecture, implementation, expansion and performance tuning across the Snowflake platform
• Building relationships with Snowflake account execs, and supporting sales activities including go-to-market strategy
• Supporting sales activities across our analytics practice, which includes data management, business intelligence, advanced analytics, modernizations, etc.
• Strong skillset to diagnose, troubleshoot and solve technical issues as they arise
• Ability to data model and architect data warehouses, data lakes and other data repositories
• Interacting face-to-face with clients
• Being a fast learner and quickly coming up to speed on various client engagements and technologies
• Delivering robust and scalable solutions to clients
• Managing projects, staff, and client relationships
• Mentor junior staff to mature and grow practice
• Willingness to adopt new technologies
• Providing recommendations to management and driving future direction and pursuit paths

The Qualifications.

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 3+ years’ experience with implementing Snowflake in a consulting role
• 5+ years’ experience in consulting
• Possesses strong SQL skills
• Proven understanding of traditional analytics projects, such as data warehouses, lakes, master data management, system integrations, etc.
• Strong relationship management and verbal and written communication skills
• Minimal travel with approximately 20-25% overnight (note: currently <10% travel)

This is an exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.

The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is: $115,000-$160,000

The compensation range reflects the base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this position across our offices in the following regions: CO, IL, OH, and MA. Please review the position description for the applicable geographic location. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range, as compensation decisions take into account a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to: responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
