Stand8 Technology Consulting is seeking a Sr/Lead Developer to define and lead the architecture for a Snowflake data platform. Responsibilities include guiding the transition from Oracle PL/SQL systems and ensuring governance and security standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Snowflake, strong data migration skills, and expertise in leading technical teams to successful project execution.

Competitive hourly compensation of $82.92 - $92.92 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Snowflake data platform architecture and implementation.
• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and data migration strategies.
• Proven experience with dbt, including macros, materializations, and CI/CD integration.
• Deep understanding of data security and RBAC implementation.
• Experience leading large-scale data migration or transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement target Snowflake architecture.
• Lead migration strategy from Oracle PL/SQL to Snowflake.
• Establish and enforce dbt project standards.
• Implement and manage Snowflake security using RBAC.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing processes.
