Job summary

State Street is seeking a Data Analytics (Snowflake) Technical Engineering Lead, AVP, to steer the data platform engineering team in designing, building, and maintaining a self-service data services platform. You will lead multiple complex Snowflake-driven projects, implement automation, and document architectures and best practices for enterprise data initiatives.

You will collaborate with global teams, oversee onshore/offshore delivery models, and provide guidance on advanced Snowflake

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Data Analytics & Integration projects.
End-to-end implementation experience of Snowflake cloud data warehouse on AWS & Azure; GCP optional.
Deep expertise in Snowflake features like resource monitors, RBAC, virtual warehouse sizing, time travel and cost governance.
Strong SQL skills with ability to review and tune complex code.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform, Ansible, Python).
Experience with data security and access controls; experience with data migration.
Ability to lead and deliver multiple complex technical projects in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

Lead design and deployment of Snowflake-based data architectures across projects.
Develop and maintain automation to enable self-service platform management.
Create and maintain documentation for deployments, architecture, and best practices.
Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams in a matrix structure to deliver solutions.
Guide application development teams on business requirements and optimal platform fit.
