Role Title: Snowflake Data Engineers

Duration: 1 year (multi-year SOW)

Preferred Location: Local to Wilmington DE or Buffalo, NY- 4 days onsite

Role Description:

We are seeking experienced Snowflake Data Engineers to support the development of modern, cloud-based data products and solutions for a large financial services organization.

This team is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new data pipelines and ELT solutions using Snowflake, Python, and SQL. The engineers will support multiple business functions, including commercial banking, retail banking, human resources, and regulatory reporting.

This is a hands-on development role focused primarily on building new data products rather than maintaining existing systems. The team operates in an Agile/Scrum environment and works closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement new data pipelines and ELT solutions using Snowflake.
• Build and enhance cloud-based data products to support business reporting, analytics, and operational needs.
• Develop complex SQL queries and Python scripts for data transformation, integration, and processing.
• Ingest and transform data from files and various source systems into Snowflake.
• Develop data solutions using a medallion architecture, including bronze, silver, and gold data layers.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and productionization.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Work within an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, development, and delivery activities.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and provide limited production support for deployed solutions.
• Communicate technical challenges, project progress, and potential risks effectively to team members and stakeholders.
