Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer with Apache Doris expertise to join our Technology team. You will document requirements, guide technical design, and contribute to coding, testing, and deployment of data solutions.

The role includes building end-to-end reporting and BI dashboards, with a focus on data warehousing and analytics in client contexts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive data pipeline development, and lead offshore data engineers.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill and Experience

• Working experience in Snowflake and Apache Doris.
• Experience in writing complex SQLs, expertise in performance tuning of SQLs.
• Experience in Python scripting and programming.
• Hands‑on Gen-AI skills preferably with Claude Code, etc and ability to create solutions in client context.
• Knowledge of BI, Reporting and Data Warehousing.
• Ability to play a Techno Functional role.
• Experience in designing end‑to‑end reporting and dashboarding applications.
• Experience is working with client business users and other stakeholders to understand reporting / dashboarding requirements and then translating them into technical design and implementing entire technical solutions.
• Experience in designing and developing ETL data pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience in building Tableau dashboards.
• Hands‑on experience in database and table design.
• Working with huge volumes of data would be an advantage.
• Expected to lead offshore data engineers.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Experience in GEN AI
• Experience in SQL
• Experience in Spark
• Apple GBI experience is preferred

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the speciality in lieu of every year of education.
