Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable data solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep cloud data architecture, data warehousing, ELT/ETL pipelines, and performance tuning to translate data requirements into robust solutions.

You will collaborate with data engineers and BI teams to deliver data-driven solutions, establish governance, and drive best practices in security and cost management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data/analytics with 4–6 years in Snowflake/Cloud Data Platforms
• Strong knowledge of cloud data architecture and data warehousing
• Experience with ELT/ETL pipelines and performance tuning

Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end data solutions on Snowflake
• Define and implement data models optimized for analytics and reporting
• Build and optimize data ingestion/transformation pipelines using Snowpipe, dbt, Informatica or similar
• Lead Snowflake platform setup: account structure, RBAC, security and governance
• Optimize query performance, cost management, and warehouse sizing within Snowflake
• Establish data governance, data quality, and metadata management frameworks
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and BI teams to deliver data-driven solutions
• Provide guidance on data integration and monitor system performance

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable data solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud platform.
