Data Architect Snowflake (must)

Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ

Employment Type: Contract (18 Months)

Job Description:

• Design, build, and manage scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake, AWS Glue, S3, and other AWS services.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.
• Implement data quality rules, validations, and error handling in data pipelines.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of data workflows.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
• Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data engineering or ELT/ETL development.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake including query optimization, Snowpipe, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in writing, testing, and debugging complex SQL queries.
• Experience with AWS services: S3, Glue, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
