Qualifications

Title: Snowflake Administrator

Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid) – 3 Days (Tuesday to Thursday)

Job Type: FTE or Hourly W2

Mandatory Skill: Snowflake Admin, and Database Security

Nice to Have Skills: AWS, Python

Key Responsibilities:

• Senior Snowflake Administrator with at least 8 years experience (5 years Snowflake developer/admin.) to lead the management, optimization, and support the Snowflake data platform.
• This role will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring optimal performance, enforcing security best practices, and collaborating with data engineers and architects to scale our cloud data infrastructure.
• Strong experience and knowledge for Snowflake security capabilities and models is a must have.

Ideal Consultant:

• A prior Oracle/legacy Sysadmin/DBA that converted over to Snowflake Developer/Admin for last 3-5 years.
• A pure Snowflake consultant with 3-5 years of Snowflake pretending to be a Sysadmin/DBA and claims to know Snowflake Security will not work out.
• Need a Sysadmin/DBA first, knowledgeable on how to do admin work in Snowflake
