Vail Resorts in Avon, CO is seeking Snowcat Operators for the 2026/2027 winter season. You will operate grooming equipment to prepare trails and ensure a safe, smooth skiing surface for guests.

Starting wage $20.00–$23.00 per hour, with full-time and part-time shifts, housing available. Must be 18+, English fluency required. Join a team with top pay, free passes, and strong training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Experience operating heavy machinery.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Housing availability provided.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of grooming equipment.
• Prepare and groom ski area trails and surfaces.
• Work collaboratively with others.
• Minimize downtime through preventative maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep of machines.
• Other duties as assigned.
