Job summary

Sugar Bowl Resort is seeking an entry-level Groomer I to help build, maintain, and repair Sugar Bowl’s ski runs. With proper training, you’ll learn to operate snowcats to deliver a consistent, uncompromising product for our guests.

No prior grooming experience is required—just a willingness to learn, work hard, and contribute to a safe, team-focused environment. Be prepared for day, swing, or night shifts and outdoor winter conditions.

Qualifications

• No prior grooming experience required; willing to learn and put in the work.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections and light servicing of equipment
• Monitor and report equipment condition daily
• Complete all objectives safely and efficiently
• Groom all assigned runs each night, to the level appropriate to training
• Attend all training and safety meetings, including orientation
• Maintain open communication with shift leader and supervisor
• Cross-train and lend a hand in other departments as needed
• Learn snowcat operation and grooming technique under supervision
• Groom beginner and intermediate terrain as assigned
• Assist more experienced Groomers with equipment checks and basic maintenance
