Job summary

Boyne Resorts at the Summit at Snoqualmie seeks a Snowboard Instructor to deliver engaging, safe, and effective lessons to guests of all ages and abilities, reporting to a Base Area Supervisor.

You will build guest confidence, participate in training and certifications, and deliver lessons aligned with PSIA/AASI standards while maintaining professionalism and teamwork in a dynamic mountain environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Teaching, coaching, or mentoring experience.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Background screening required.

Overview

The Snowboard Instructor delivers engaging, safe, and effective snowboard instruction to guests of varying ages and ability levels. Reporting to a Base Area Supervisor, this role creates exceptional guest experiences by fostering confidence, skill development, and a lifelong passion for snow sports. Success is measured through guest satisfaction, teaching excellence, professionalism, and teamwork.

Come work and play at Seattle's home mountain, the Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is a lot to do all year long.

Wage and Benefit Info:

• The wage range for this positions is: from $21.75-27.75/hr DOE
• This is a non-benefited role.
• All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff).
• All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
