Job summary

Wasatch Peaks Ranch in Morgan, Utah is seeking a Snow Surfaces Director to lead the Snow Surface Department, oversee snowmaking, grooming and summer trail operations, and coordinate with the Development Team on mountain expansion projects.

You will manage staffing, scheduling, department budgeting, and safety programs, including OSHA-compliant protocols, while building high‑performing teams and ensuring reliable mountain operations year-round.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years’ experience in Ski Resort Operations.
• Some college or technical training in mechanics, electrical, or plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Manage Snowmaking, Grooming and Summer Trail Crew departments.
• Maintain a safe work environment and safety training throughout the department.
• Plan and perform preventive maintenance on snowmaking equipment.
• Coordinate with Development Team on mountain expansion projects.
• Organize staff meetings and supervise policy compliance.
