Job summary

Yard Smart in Northeast Ohio is hiring Snow Shovelers / Sidewalk Crew Members for a seasonal winter position. You will help keep commercial properties safe by shoveling sidewalks, entrances, and ramps, applying ice-melt, and supporting operators during snow events.

This physically demanding role requires reliability, willingness to work during snow events, and the ability to work outdoors in cold weather. Overnight, early morning, weekend, and holiday shifts are possible as needed.

About the Position

Yard Smart ishiring Snow Shovelers / Sidewalk Crew Members to help keep commercial properties safe and accessible throughout the winter.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding position that is critical to a successful snow operation. You don't need to be an equipment operator — we need dependable people who are willing to work hard and show up when the snow hits.

What You’ll Do

• Shovel and clear snow from sidewalks, entrances, steps, ramps, and other pedestrian areas
• Apply salt and ice-melt products as directed
• Clear snow around doors, fire lanes, dumpsters, and other designated areas
• Assist equipment operators and plow drivers as neededWatch for icy or hazardous conditions and report them to supervisors
• Follow assigned routes and property-specific instructions
• Work safely around moving vehicles and snow-removal equipment
• Help clean and maintain snow-removal tools and equipment
