Job summary

Middlebury College seeks a part-time Snow School Instructor to teach ski and/or snowboard lessons to guests of all ages, acting as a mountain ambassador and providing a welcoming learning environment.

You will join a team-focused operation with opportunities to support other departments as needed, while adhering to safety procedures and delivering high-quality lessons. This role is non-benefits eligible and paid hourly.

Qualifications

• Proficient ski and/or snowboard skills.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to connect with guests.
• Flexible and able to improvise for effective teaching.
• Strong understanding of group dynamics.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for missing or injured students/guests.

Responsibilities

• Teaches ski and/or snowboard lessons to guests of all ages and abilities.
• Acts as a mountain ambassador and supports a positive learning environment.
• Collaborates with Snowbowl departments and assists other areas as needed.
