You will operate snowplows, loaders, and other equipment to clear snow from commercial properties and ensure safe pathways, with on-call duties during winter months. Brilar emphasizes growth, training, and a team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in snow removal or operating heavy equipment.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Pass a driver's background check.
• Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Able to be on call 24/7 during winter months.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Trainable, coachable, and able to grasp new concepts quickly.

Responsibilities

• Remove snow safely and efficiently from commercial properties using applicable equipment.
• Operate heavy equipment to clear roadways, loading areas, docks, and parking lots in winter conditions.
• Remove snow to create a safe pathway for the public, pedestrians, and traffic.
• Be on call during winter months for snow and ice events.
• Ensure work is conducted safely and maintain safe work areas.

As a Snow Removal Equipment Operator, you may operate a variety of heavy equipment, including, but not limited to, snowplows and salt trucks, skid steers, front-end loaders, snow rators, and tractors, among other wheel loader equipment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Remove snow safely and efficiently from commercial properties, including but not limited to multi-family locations, parking lots, and the exteriors of high-traffic facilities using skid steer, wheel loader, front-end loader, snow rator, tractor, or using plow blade attachments
• Operate heavy equipment to clear roadways, loading areas, docks, parking lots, among others in winter conditions including snow, snow/rain mix, extreme weather, and temperatures
• Remove snow to create a safe pathway for the public, pedestrians, and traffic
• Report to branch or assigned location within the time frame given
• Be on call during the winter months for all snow and ice events
• May assist during a snow and ice event by operating other snow or salt spreading equipment
• Ensure work is being conducted in a safe manner, and maintain work areas safe for the employee, the customer, the public and the environment.
• Performs at a high and safe level of productivity
