Job summary

Brighton Resort is looking for a Snow Removal Crew Member to keep walkways, entrances and parking areas clear and safe during the winter season. This outdoor role operates in cold weather and often requires early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on snowfall.

You will use shovels, snow blowers, and salt spreaders; must lift up to 50 lbs and work with the Facilities Manager to address hazards. Reliable, punctual, and physically fit applicants are preferred.

Qualifications

• Outdoor work in winter conditions is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a minimum 3 days per week schedule.
• Ability to work independently or in small groups.
• Comfortable working outdoors in cold, snowy conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clear snow and ice from walkways, stairways, entrances, and decks
• Operate snow removal equipment such as shovels, snow blowers, and salt spreaders
• Apply ice-melt to high-traffic areas to reduce slip hazards
• Maintain snow removal equipment and ensure proper storage after use
• Monitor weather conditions and respond quickly to snow and ice accumulation
• Assist with hauling snow and maintaining safe pathways around buildings and high-use areas
• Report any hazards, unsafe conditions, or maintenance needs to the Facilities Manager
• Operate alone or in small groups to accomplish tasks and duties
• Follow all safety protocols and resort policies while performing duties
• Other duties as assigned

Job Title: Snow Removal Crew Member

Position Overview

The Snow Removal Crew Member ensures Brighton Resort’s property, walkways, entrances, and parking areas are safe and accessible for guests and employees during the winter season. This role focuses on snow and ice removal, requiring the ability to work outdoors in cold and challenging weather conditions. Compensation is $18.00 an hour.

Work Environment

This position is entirely outdoors and requires working in winter weather conditions, often in early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on snowfall.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week.
