Job summary

Brighton Resort is seeking a Snow Removal Crew Member to keep walkways, entrances and parking areas safe during the winter season. This role focuses on snow and ice removal and requires working outdoors in cold conditions. Compensation is $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous snow removal or outdoor maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable working outdoors in cold, snowy and icy conditions for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Clear snow and ice from walkways, stairways, entrances, and decks.
• Operate snow removal equipment such as shovels, snow blowers, and salt spreaders.
• Apply ice-melt to high-traffic areas to reduce slip hazards.
• Maintain snow removal equipment and ensure proper storage after use.
• Monitor weather conditions and respond quickly to snow and ice accumulation.
• Assist with hauling snow and maintaining safe pathways around buildings and high-use areas.
• Report any hazards, unsafe conditions, or maintenance needs to the Facilities Manager.
• Operate alone or in small groups to accomplish tasks and duties.
• Follow all safety protocols and resort policies while performing duties.
• Other duties as assigned
